*The Laughter*

Am i strong enough

to stare in the face

of all the sacrifices i made

When i lay my body down

to conclude the day

will the depraved images in my head

make my lay awake

Am i brave enough,

to stare at the clock

and wacth the numbers slow

and stop

As time leaks by, i let out a lions cry

it roars high to the ignored lights in the sky

the somber twinkles reminds me

of those i lost behind

and the darkness surrounding,

those i've yet to find

With thoughs of wretched wasteful regrets

playing fresh in my mind

visions of a lost present

contorts my spine

I swollow it all down

like expenive shitty wine

knowing that my isolation

is too a crime.

Helping one over the other

is how i got to this state

not knowing if i would had helped myself

the results would had been the same

I though it was worth it

i though it would pay

but now i just cuff my chin

and i turn away

Cause all the sacrifices i made

are now laughing

laughing in my face
